Low Calorie Summer Cocktails

If you are someone with a busy social life you will probably find yourself at numerous parties, weddings, family gatherings over the summer months. If you want to use up some of your calorie allowance by consuming an alcoholic drink it pays to choose low calorie ones. I read somewhere that a Pina Colada has more calories than a Big Mac so that’s definitely one to be avoided. Calorie to taste ratio is important – you want to be able to enjoy the drink – but avoid the sugar and cream of some fattening ones. Always have two drinks on the go – your chosen drink and some sparkling water or a low calorie juice. It slows you down and prevents a hangover.
