Tasty snacks in a nutritious diet
Many people eat snacks as a tasty reward for some achievement and while snacking is genuinely a bad habit, that should be controlled to allow your healthy diet plan to succeed, at Weight to Go we do believe in rewarding yourself with a tasty treat, once in a while.
The Weight to Go meal replacement diet includes a set number of protein shakes each day and or plans include a number of tasty diet snack bars. These have been included into your daily calorie intake, though how and when you wish to eat them is up to you.
Our snack bars are very tasty, Lemon Crunch Bar and Peanut and Chocolate Snack Bar, and very convenient, ideal for a little pick me up in during the day, and our diet shakes can be prepared in many ways to take them from a simple protein drink, to being a lovely and sweet treat for you.
Blending Shake Powder, a little water and some ice cubes together produces a tasty sorbet that is high in protein and low in calories. Unlike dairy ice cream this treat will leave you feeling well satisfied.
Weight to Go diet Shakes can also be made into a thick mousse by adding less water and chilling the mixture down. They are so quick and easy that you could make them in the morning to leave in the fridge for when you return home from work.
Our own Dr Ashton has a favourite addition to our Vanilla diet shake: to add some strawberries and blend in half a banana for a delicious and healthy smoothie. This treat also counts as one of your 5 daily portions of fruit.
Chocolate shakes are easily spiced up with a dash of orange or mint essence. You can even microwave our Chocolate diet shakes to make a warming cup of hot chocolate, without the calories hot chocolate normally adds to your daily intake.
