Paula lost 3 stones in 3 months*

“Food is like fuel in a car, you should only put in what you know you’re going to use – the better quality fuel you use, the better the car’s performance.” Paula lost 3 stones in 3 months with Weight to Go and also improved her climbing ability by 3 grades in the same time.

Climbing fanatic Paula realised that running her own rock-climbing business meant that she needed to look the part – and having piled on excess weight while setting up the business, it was time for a change.

Paula had always been fit and active. This is why it didn’t initially register that she was overweight, so it came as a huge shock when she saw a photo of herself one day. She realised she didn’t look like the outdoorsy, athletic individual that she knew she was.

Paula had suffered with an under active thyroid during her 20s and had gained almost 5 stone. In order to lose weight, she tried alternative weight loss products - but they didn’t maintain weight loss, tasted artificial and didn’t suit her lifestyle.

Weight crept on during the set up of business, when she and her husband would work 100 hour weeks and often give into the urge for a takeaway at the end of a long day.

Taking the decision to use Weight to Go was simple, as Paula knew she needed to restrict her calorie intake and increase her exercise. Weight to Go appealed due to the home cooked, delivered-to-your-door food and hassle free preparation.

Paula’s husband also used WTG, because they both knew that at the end of a long day their evening meal was ready and waiting for them - and that it was good, nutritious food that took just minutes to prepare.

She said “Weight to Go appeals as it’s a nutritional, balanced diet and has re-educated me to portion control.”

Paula says one of the major benefits for her since losing weight with is the ability to perform pull ups – essential to improve upper body strength for rock climbing. Since her weight loss, her confidence has increased, she’s more active and her climbing has improved by 3 grades. In fact she feels great – really healthy and at her physical best.

Paula still uses Weight to Go whenever she feels like a health boost and as a fail-safe way to lose a couple of pounds. And she also still uses the protein shakes to supplement her regular diet when undertaking a lot of rock climbing as she uses up a lot of extra calories.

Paula uses this analogy for Weight to Go: “Food is like fuel in a car, you should only put in what you know you’re going to use – the better quality fuel you use, the better the car’s performance.”
